That is ok! You don’t need any experience to sell your website. We’ve been buying and selling digital businesses for years and walk you through every step of the sales process. From coordinating your conversations with qualified buyers right to closing the deal, you have our support.
We are 100% performance based. Moreover, it is free to list your site for sale with Sirius Design Group. We have no up front or hidden fees. Instead, we take a 10% commission from all successful sales. Everything is outlined in our Listing Agreement.
This will vary from business to business. However, most buyers are looking to verify the business claims. Due Diligence will include proof of revenue, traffic, commerce relations, and domain ownership. Thus, your material may include accounting documents such as profit and loss and cash flow statements, third-party payment stubs, tax returns, partner agreements, and google analytics exports.
We utilize third-party Escrow to complete closing. In other words, a third-party handles receiving and distributing the money. Escrow can even hold a deposit if offered or required during the Letter of Intent. Typically during closing, Escrow receives the purchase price from the Buyer. Then the Seller transfers all business assets including the website, databases, content, products, customer lists, and intellectual property. Finally, once the buyer receives the assets, Escrow releases the funds, paying our commission and transferring the remaining amount to the Seller.
Post-sale or transitional support’s goal is to help the buyer learn the business operations. However, the amount will vary between transactions. The more complex your business the longer transitional support is recommended. But 30-90 days is average.
